Current bookable services

This list comes from the same active, bookable service catalogue as the appointment flow. The catalogue is shared by every store; the selected store and current booking checks determine whether your particular booking can be accepted.

Only a service marked free in the current catalogue is offered at no charge. Quote-priced work requires the store to confirm the price. Fixed catalogue amounts are not a promise that additional repairs, fees or vehicle-specific work are included.

Catalogue read for this page: 2026-11-02T10:02:07.215Z

Tire prices, installed totals, stock and appointment times change. Use the current catalogue or MCP tools, retain their source timestamps and warnings, and recheck before booking. A tire-only price is not the installed total; unknown stock is not a promise of availability.

Call to confirm stock.

Before a Big Bear or mountain trip

Your trip plans are a reason to check your vehicle, not a reason to recommend the same tire to everyone.

  1. Before leaving, check cold tire pressure against the vehicle label and inspect tread and sidewalls. Tell the advisor about warning lights, leaks, unusual wear or a change in steering or braking.
  2. Choose the store that works for your route. Ask about a vehicle inspection, brake inspection or alignment check from the current bookable list, based on your concerns. An alignment check is not a substitute for a tire or brake inspection.
  3. Discuss winter-appropriate tires using your actual vehicle, fitment and expected conditions. Preserve load, speed and other compatibility requirements; do not assume a size match or any in-stock tire is suitable for every winter trip.
  4. Check Caltrans for current road conditions and travel requirements, and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions for tires and traction equipment. Conditions can change; this page does not certify a tire or vehicle for a particular route.

  1. 1. Resolve the store and work

    find_stores → list_services → find_vehicles → search_tires → get_appointment_times

Ask which store and what the person needs. Use real vehicle and fitment choices, current service options and store-local times. Explain installed versus tire-only prices and unknown or stale stock. Offer only the store’s bookable times. Never say that tires are ordered in, shipped, transferred or delivered or that they come from a supplier, and never quote a delivery day.

  2. 2. Prepare, read back and get approval

    prepare_appointment → confirm_appointment

Preparation returns a summary and confirmation token; it does not reserve or submit the appointment. Read or show the exact summary and pay-at-store terms, get the person’s explicit approval, then confirm that token. Never manufacture approval. No card payment or repair authorization is collected here.

  3. 3. Check the actual outcome

    get_appointment

Keep the returned booking reference private and check status. Saved, queued, retrying, review or rejected bookings are not confirmed appointments. Only the verified appropriate revision confirms its appointment. A callback is staff follow-up, not an appointment.

  4. 4. Reschedule or cancel the same booking

    get_reschedule_times → prepare_reschedule → prepare_cancellation → confirm_appointment → get_appointment

Use the existing booking reference, prepare the change and obtain explicit approval of its summary before confirming. Keep the last confirmed appointment distinct from a pending change. Cancellation is complete only when its actual status says so.

Guest discovery and booking do not require a staff API key or customer account. Keep confirmation tokens, the booking reference and private receipt links out of public content and logs. A booking reference grants access to that booking; it does not prove customer-account ownership.
